Sofia is a visual artist from the Dominican Republic who focuses on puppet, model making, and costume fabrication and design. She graduated with a BFA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design(SCAD) in August of 2019. She worked at LAIKA Studios for 5 years in the puppet department, where she honed in her skills. Sofia has a passion for sewing, paint, and constructing miniature pieces.

Sofia is also very interested in experimental animation, illustration, sculpture, among other areas.
